I recently bought a 2015 Forest River Forester 2251LE sitting on a 4500 Chevy frame. Nosotros've taken it out a couple of times now, one trip with full hookup and the other was dry camping. I have some experience pulling trailers in the by but this is my first RV and so I'yard definitely a rookie when information technology comes to RV's. Interior – For the most office it is just my married woman and I on the route in our RV and this Forester is perfect for united states of america. I walked through several RV'southward before I bought this one and for the most office they all take the same bones amenities of nearly the aforementioned sizes and part. The feature that made this RV standout from the rest was the slide out queen size bed. In this entry level course RV it seemed that you had to squeeze into the rear bed area in other RV models. The slide out on the Forester made it so you lot can walk around the foot and partially around the side of the bed. This is a great characteristic that makes the RV seem bigger than information technology is. We like the wait of the interior then far everything has worked well. Everything on the inside seems to be made to final just time will tell. Outside – For RV rookies like me it will have a bit to get utilize to the width of the RV and the added width of the side mirrors. Driving home from the dealer on highways and side roads information technology felt like I was going to hit the telephone poles or other vehicles around me. I'g assuming this 8'five" width is normal for RV'south and something all RV'ers have to get used to. Functionally I'1000 happy with the outside components. I've used the dump organization a couple of times and it was very unproblematic and intuitive to use. The black and grey pull handles were easy to get to. They are on opposite sides which seems strange to me but maybe that is normal. The storage bins are ok but I ran out of space pretty quickly. I'thou guessing this is normal for small RV's like this one and the slide out may accept taken away from some of the storage room outside. The bins are made of plastic and are screwed in from what I tin can tell as opposed to strapped in. I practise worry a scrap that these bins cannot agree up to much weight in them without pulling out the screws – fourth dimension will tell. Engine – The v8 6 liter engine (I think that is it's size) has proven to be plenty of engine for the size of the RV. One of our trips we drove upward into some hills and on another we drove on some steady up hills inclines on a motorway and in both cases nosotros had no trouble with ability. I pulled a small trailer of about 2,000 lb on one of the trips and pretty much could non tell it was in that location. I really appreciate the transmission that is in this RV. Information technology is smooth and did some blazon of down shifting every bit we were going downhill and so I did not take to manually downwards shift to salvage the brakes. The breaking organisation seems to be well sized for the RV and makes me feel pretty comfortable stopping this 10,000+ lb vehicle when I need to. Ride and experience – When testing different RV's I got to sit down in a Ford version and Chevy version of this RV. I felt like I could run across over the hood better on the Chevy. In addition to that the Ford model cut into the passenger foot area and so they take to sit at a bit of an angle. In the Chevy model we bought it is loud when on the road. Some of the noise is engine and some is outside dissonance from the route. My biggest complaint and actually my only complaint is the handling is terrible. When I hitting small dips in the route the RV bobs back and along like a rocking horse. When we turn into a driveway or when we were going up some moderately windy roads the RV leaned pretty heavily. This is a tall vehicle so I would wait some of this only every bit I watched other equivalent sized RV's on the route they did not seem to bob and lean as much as this one.

This is a great motorhome for us. Information technology is undecayed and reliable. Very easy to bulldoze and maneuver. Very happy with it. It sleeps 6 just the living infinite is small. In our opinion it is not intended for full fourth dimension living for a family. Peradventure a couple. Corking weekender.

This has been our first RV and has made our picayune weekend get aways like shooting fish in a barrel and effortless. We have enjoyed the quality and upgrades that our RV has to offering. This camper is pocket-sized plenty to take anywhere including Country Parks, Military camp grounds and dry camping. We have enjoyed camping ground so much that nosotros are planning longer trips. The only reason to sell is to purchase a bigger coach that will carry the states into retirement.

1. Good feel with this RV. 2. Bunks were wonderful every bit the provided extra storage are for our long three calendar week trips. 3. Fast hook up and undecayed 30 amp. The one A/C is very tranquility and works keen! Cool fix at lxx* on the hot summertime days. 4. Drives like a four door truck. Piece of cake to manuver in downtown cities. Piece of cake to park. Beingness gas it does have a bit of route noise much similar the truck does. The ford is potent and able to become upwardly and get without jerking. Collection in very high winds with no problem. We are used to pulling large horse rigs and this RV is much easier. 5.The overhead is neat for extra sleep area and also for extra blankets, pillows extra storage. half-dozen. The bathroom is nice and the shower is suitable and serves good when continuing sideways with shower is dandy. Prissy counter space with sink! Opens into bunk are to make a large space. We like the bathroom. The queen bed is very comfortable with closet hanging space across area and beside bed. Nosotros had no need for wishing nosotros had more storage! 7. I don't cook in RVs so I can't comment on that, merely the refrigerator, though pocket-sized, was all nosotros needed and kept everything very cold. 8. The interior is non 'decorator fancy' similar many merely the underneath and mechanics supplant, making concerns near absent-minded. They are reliable and the interior has held up great. The leather held up and a year afterwards looks as information technology did upon buy. The mattress is very good and nosotros sleep very sound and comfy on a queen bed. ix. We have driven the RV across this nation visiting our military family unit members, traveling 2-3 weeks at a time. We bulldoze this weekly for weekend glamping or just into town for groceries or dining out. Works dandy for getting groceries in estrus or rain. We tin can place buggies under the canopy and stay dry or protected from the sun. The class C is much easier to manuver for this reason. 10. The just issue we have had is the screen door had to be adjusted and the machine jacks gear up. This was taken intendance of quickly. We swapped out the radio arrangement to include NAV which was no trouble, the a/c compressor was replaced at 2400 miles and Ford dealership replaced quickly (two days) at no accuse. Today the RV appears as it did upon purchase, runs great, even maintained the new smell. The dog travels with u.s.. This tells me the interior products are good to not agree pet odor, or scratch upward, though he is very house broke, with no accidents. 11. The downside for us: We are wanting to effort the class A with reverse slides in living and master chamber (3-4slides) for wider space in the rooms and a rear bath and 1/ii for personal use and when our family members camp with us. We will not change manufacturer though because the overall reviews and our personal experience with Forest River is excellent to date.

EXCELLENT 4 DAY Boon-DOCKER: I bought this RV new and it has been very reliable and fun to use. Information technology maneuvers like a full size option-up truck. It has lots of storage infinite in the external and internal compartments. Setting it up takes less than 30 minuets. Is fully self contained and will last upwardly to four days on a battery charge and its waste tanks if used properly. The built in generator charges the batteries from 1/three to full chapters in most 3-4 hrs. With a full fuel tank the generator will run continuously approximately thirty hrs and go out approximately 175 mile driving range in tank.

I purchased my forest river from dealer in Lakewood New Jersey I immediately had issues with plumbing electric and a few other things. Camping world of Lakewood New Bailiwick of jersey was useless in the leaving any of these issues then I contacted Woods River Wirh some success initially . They sent out the parts to repair the broken awning arm and metropolis water connection . Within the first 5000 Miles I had to supersede all of the water connections which were inexpensive plastic and had croaky . I farther had to supplant the control panel for the Large Foot leveling systen with no help from Forest River later on numerous calls . The USB ports inside rig are substandard and simply some work . The tile on the kitchen wall is falling off . This rig had many options that appeared impressive just information technology's structure was of low value with inexpensive parts used .
